First off, this chorus is so contageous it’s been ruining office work production since yesterday. This is a great step for MATT & KIM, who’ve made a leap in the volume of their two-person sound. Volume as in fullness, not decibel level. The problem a lot of one or two-person acts encounter is a sparsely populated sound, which is totally avoidable in the age of sequencing. But here M&K, who’ve run a little hollow in the past, are as solid as anyone could hope, filling in the gaps with well placed clicks and bleeps, and synth tubas that give this a sorta marching band quality. Then it gets to the chorus and who cares you just want to sing it over and over again (see this office).
